
Eligibility is extended to any individual or group of individuals who have Driven, Ridden, Owned, Designed, Built, Maintained, Prepared, Promoted, Officiated, Supported or taken part in any capacity connected with British Drag Racing and to organisations which have played a notable and distinguished role in the sport.
Inductees should have been retired from the sport for at least three years or have been engaged at the highest level for at least 20 years or otherwise be recognised for their significant contribution. Inductees are characterised by mastery of their fields and by the courage to innovate.
Those honoured for inclusion into the Hall of Fame will receive a ‘Bootsie’, a quality crystal tablet encapsulating an image of the late Allan ‘Bootsie’ Herridge, a man who put so much into British Drag Racing, together with an exclusive gold enamelled commemorative pin badge.
In March 2016 the BDRHoF Benevolent Fund was created as a registered charity, no 1167197 and is being run as a separate entity from the British Drag Racing Hall of Fame Ltd. The Fund is one of very few the Charity Commission has allowed the use of the word British in the title.
