His book Diggers, Funnies, Gassers, and Altereds: Drag Racing’s Golden Age documents the 1960s and 1970s when drag racing evolved from a grass roots effort to a full-blown professional motorsport. The paperback book will be offered at a price of £20 (compared with a RRP of £30.83). One reviewer described it as ‘a must have for your coffee table’ and another ‘if you only own one vintage drag book, this is the one to have’. The out-of-print hardback edition sells between collectors for as much as $300.
