Way back in 2015 the BDRHoF Management Board took a decision to improve its communication with the launch of HoFTalk designed and edited by Eurodragster.com’s news editor Simon Groves. In this format our twice-yearly online publication was very well received by our supporters and sponsors, and under Simon’s already demanding time schedule, lasted for 6 issues after which I entered the scene. Already involved as a Board Selector I was asked if I would like to take on the role what with my background in journalism and design work having edited Fire Up and European Dragster magazines and written for countless British, European and Overseas publications.

My first issue made its debut in 2019 with a new layout, new content and hopefully a fresh outlook. But like all projects such as this even my free time and workload has started to impact on its frequency of publication which is why you haven’t seen one in a while.

However, with the new and improved web site you are viewing right now we have taken the decision for news and features to be included in a HoFTalk’s very own section. Here you will find all the news of our inducted members within their own particular aspect of British and European Drag Racing. Features will also be added from time to time. Of course, I will continue to add shorter content to the BDRHoF’s page on Facebook in a more timely manner while incorporating as much unpublished material as possible

Thank you for your patience but I feel it will be worth the wait with so many great stories to be told and, many of which will, be exclusive to this page.

In the meantime, I would like to thank Simon and the management board for coming up with the idea in the first place and to you, the supporter, for being there and supporting the British Drag Racing Hall of Fame. See you at the strip!
